Our group has once again performed well in the Green Printing Company competition. ANY Security Printing Company PLC was awarded the Green Printhouse of the Year for the 13th time, and our largest domestic subsidiary, Gyomai Kner Printing Company, was awarded this title for the 6th time. Dr. János Szépvölgyi, Quality and Technology Director, received the prestigious award on our behalf, and Mihály Czöndör, Technology Manager, received the award on behalf of Gyoma. The GPwA 2023 Green Mini-Conference and Awards Ceremony took place on the 9th of November during the 30th PNYME (Hungarian Technical Association of the Paper and Printing Industry’s) Printing Itinerant Conference in the centre of Zalaegerszeg. We are particularly pleased that in addition to the main prize, we also excelled in the family-friendly category, which was awarded for the first time this year. Out of the six printing companies that were nominated, we were honoured to receive the title “Family Friendly Green Printhouse of the Year”. A positive evaluation criterion for our submission was its clear structure and the complex presentation of the diversity of our welfare activities.
