Gyula Lángos, the plant director of State Printing House in Pásztó was awarded a prestigious professional prize. His professional work and his efforts made for the introduction of new innovative technologies in the area of printing industry were rewarded by the prize received from the Hungarian Association of the Paper and Printing Industry.

The Hess András prize, which is the most prestigious professional prize, was awarded by the Hungarian Association of the Paper and Printing Industry in 2010 as well. Gyula Lángos, the plant director of State Printing House Plc. in Pásztó was one of the eight prize winners of this year. The plant director with his experience of several decades in the printing industry deserved the prize of the Association by his actions made for the development of the printing industry, the introduction of leading technologies in Hungary and his openness towards the innovative solutions.

He began his career as a printer in Athenaeum Printing House, following the footprints of his great-grandfather – Viktor Hornyánszky – the owner of the Imperial and Royal Court Printing House. He completed his studies on the technical editorial faculty for the printing industry in the Technical College for Light Industries, and after rising in the ranks he has been the plant director of State Printing House in Pásztó since 1987. Today he is taking part in the development and introduction of leading solutions in Hungary, such as the flexo technology or the electronic applications opening up huge prospects in the printing industry.
