Last November was the nineteenth time that the Association of Hungarian Security Managers had organized its annual conference where our Printing Company was represented by Dr. Mihály Iszály, Director. Since, in parallel with his position in the security area, our colleague is also the Group Data Protection Officer of ANY, he was responsible for preparing ANY’s domestic and foreign subsidiaries for the GDPR too. Our colleague for several years has been being the member of this association that has been congregating the elite of domestic security profession since 1996. The two-day program held in Tapolca was enriched by interesting presentations; during his half-hour presentation entitled “GDPR Introduction – What has happened since May?” Mr. Iszály shared his experiences, how the Printing Company had prepared for changes to the data protection regulation.
The bests of the security protection and security technology profession were awarded prizes in two categories during a gala dinner in the evening of the conference. The bodyguard of the year and the security protection specialist of the year were selected by a professional jury through a competition jointly conducted by the Association of Hungarian Security Managers, Chamber of Personal and Property Protection and Private Detectives, International Association of Bodyguards and Security Services, and the Detector Magazine as their media partner. This year the latter prestigious award was received by Dr. Mihály Iszály.
