To realize the long term strategy, Gábor Zsámboki, general manager of State Printing House Plc has changed the management of the Company. Coming into effect on 1 May 2008, he appointed László Balla finance director as deputy general manager and Tamás Karakó as finance director.

In the future, László Balla deputy general manager will supervise the investment and acquisition activities and manage human resources, legal, quality management and environment protection territories as number one deputy of the general manager. As an investor relations contact, Tamás Karakó will take over the Company’s financial management from 1 May 2008.

We work together with László Balla and Tamás Karakó for long years. Beside the fact that they both have experience gained at an international financial company, they thoroughly know the operation of the Company. The personal changes will contribute to the realization of the Company’s long term strategy.

State Printing House Plc

László Balla (32) – He graduated from the Budapest College of Finance and Accounting in 1998. After graduation, he worked at the Budapest office of Ernst and Young Kft. in the field of auditing services. From 2001 he managed the development and operation of the controlling system at State Printing House Plc as controlling director. From 2003, ha was deputy finance director, from 2004 he took part in the introduction of the Company’s shares to the Budapest Stock Exchange and in the work of the senior management as a finance director.
László Balla has 300 pieces of Series ‘A’, 9 pieces of Series ‘B’ and 2,710 pieces of Series ‘C’ State Printing house shares. Following the decision of the Annual General Meeting of State Printing House Plc held on 28 April 2008 and acquiring the necessary permissions, the Series ’B’ and ’C’ employee shares are converted into Series ’A’ shares.

Tamás Karakó (30) – He graduated from the Salgótarján College of Finance and Accounting with a major in accounting in 1998. In 2002 he passed a specialist examination of stock exchange, and then he obtained the qualification of a registered auditor of the Hungarian Auditors’ Chamber in 2005. Between 1998 and 2003 he worked at the Audit Directorate of Ernst and Young. He moved to State Printing House where he worked as a controlling director. He took part in the Company’s introduction to the Budapest Stock Exchange, later he manages investor and stock exchange relations as well.
