Ferenc Berkesi served as Chief Security Officer at ANY Security Printing Company PLC between 2001 and 2019. After his retirement, he remained a member of the Supervisory Board.
He spent a significant part of his rich life journey in internal affairs service. He held key leadership positions including Personnel Chief, Head of the Main Duty Office of the Budapest Police Headquarter (BRFK), Commander of the Special Police Service, and later, Commander of the Republican Guard.
At ANY Security Printing Company PLC, General Berkesi played a pivotal role in shaping the production of security documents to comply with international standards. Under his leadership, the company earned its highest-level certifications.
He was loved, respected, and admired by all at the company, where he was affectionately known as “Uncle Feri” or simply “Papa.” His expertise was matched by his loyalty and integrity —hallmarks of his remarkable character. A former elite athlete, his physical endurance mirrored his tireless commitment to service. Beyond work, he was the heart and soul of his family, a source of warmth, safety, and unwavering support.

“The legionnaire marches on,” he often said when asked how he was doing.

General Berkesi passed away on June 8, 2025.
