The Research Institute for Technical Physics and Materials Science of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA-MFA) which has several decade long, internationally recognized professional knowledge in the research and application of nano-sized structures and State Printing House Plc, the second largest security printing company of the Central-Eastern Europe has concluded a long term research and development agreement. The agreement was signed by Dr. Istv\u00e1n B\u00e1rsony, director of the research institute and G\u00e1bor Zs\u00e1mboki, chief executive officer of State Printing House Plc and it is aimed at developing such new security printing solutions due to nanotechnology which ensure competitive advantage to State Printing House and applying nanotechnology and nano-sized structures in order to develop printing technology devices. <\/p>\n

The cooperation agreement covers common research and development activities in close professional cooperation based on previously agreed strategy. The common work is aimed at developing more secure inks and solution with the help of nanotechnology which contribute to the prevention of document forgery and drawing back counterfeited products. The two parties would like to finance the developments aimed at drawing back underground economy not only with own resources but also with shared application for domestic, European Union and international tenders.<\/p>\n
