As part of the 75th anniversary of the Technical Association of the Paper and Printing Industry (PNYME), the most prestigious awards of the profession were handed over on 28 September 2023. Dr. Erzs\u00e9bet Novotny<\/strong>, our sales manager, received one of the highest honours of PNYME, the Lajos Lengyel Award<\/strong>. She received this special commemorative plaque in recognition of her community-building work within the association. Erzsi has been a member of the organisation for decades and serves as Vice President since 2012. Our colleague has a distinguished career in the printing industry, and with her industry experience and academic work, she well deserves this award. She is a regular speaker at conferences abroad, and was the first person from Hungary to be elected to the board of the international scientific printing association IARIGAI, which enables the two associations to maintain a lively relationship. Her activity is also reflected in the education of young people, and she is an active participant in the traditional Andor Days of the school in B\u00e9k\u00e9scsaba, as well as in the annual Star of the Profession Festival.
