The consortium led by State Printing House Plc continues to produce tax stamps in the next two years

State Printing House Plc and Pénzjegynyomda Zrt. contracted with the Excise Directorate of the Hungarian Customs and Finance Guard (VPOP) for producing tax stamps. The contract’s value is forecasted to reach HUF 1.8 billion annually.

Tax stamps represent an outstanding security level within the Állami Nyomda security product offering, in accordance with their area of use. The Company, as a consortium member, has been producing alcohol and cigarette tax stamps – required as proof of excise tax payments and including special security solutions – for the VPOP for twelve years, and counterfeiting has fallen considerably during this period.
